I spent a lot of time helping my roommate to process the feels and vulnerabilities emerging around what happened in their relationship — and potentially over invested myself in their emotional process. This was complicated by the ex-boyfriend Greg still being a part of the community. He starting dating a different close friend of mine, Sarah I ran into him around town, we were on friendly terms.
I told Clay I was not willing to do this kind of social navigating and needed some space from the dynamics of the situation. A few months later Clay and I were in an art show together. They were very hurt and shared that I had not respected their boundaries around Greg — but not until the show was over. Which Greg did not end up attending. Around this same time, I also invited my friend Sarah dating Greg to an emotional-processing workshop I was hosting in our home, that Clay was also planning to attend.
Clay was also very upset with me about this, and again from their perspective, not respecting their boundaries and experience with having been emotionally abused. This conflict culminated in Clay moving out of our house, and three very dramatic and painful feeling months where we were not able to connect or work things through as we had previously done. I take issues of emotional abuse very seriously, and am trying to learn from this situation.

R99 Thanks for explaining. Just wow,on so many levels. So summary of the premiere week:
Linen was the primary background fabric for most embroidery in the SCA period, sometimes an even weave, sometimes not. It is easiest to work counted embroidery on even weave fabrics, an uneven weave can be used but you will have to count over a different number of threads in each direction, which can be confusing. The modern fabrics are many; the most common are aida, hardanger and congress cloth.
Aida is the least expensive and the easiest to find. It is made from cotton, and the threads are bound into bundles leaving little open holes in the weave where the needle should pass through the fabric. Hardanger is woven with threads in pairs but there are no open holes in the weave. Congress cloth is an open mesh weave that is commonly used in needle point today.

New NYT piece on Lee Pace’s emergence from the HW closet after getting strong hints to hide his sexual orientation and using women friends as beards What was his sexual orientation? It seems an entirely predictable question for an interview about the cornerstone of the gay theatrical canon.
As already mentioned above, the introduction of AMS, involving samples of only a few milligrams, made it feasible to date bog bodies by means of 14 C (see e.g.,). In this report we present AMS 14 C dates obtained for a substantial group of northwest European bog bodies.

A homework question intended for eight-year-old students has left grown adults scratching their heads. Mumsnet users have been trying to solve a riddle that asks when different lighthouses will shine their lights at the same time and when they will be off at the same time. The question is answered by working out the common multiples between the schedules of the lighthouses.
However, none of the parents could seem to agree on the correct answer – so can you work it out? The second light shines for 4 seconds then it is off for 4 seconds.
May 03, · I have a large number of old archive logs dating back to mid December. The retention policy for this database is only 3 days however. If I look for obsolete items or even try to delete old archive logs via RMAN it doesn’t come up with anything.
The ready-made audience of Gabaldon cultists was what Starz cleaned up on, but they seemed unprepared for the casting challenge that drivel would present. Amazingly, Heughan made it work for awhile and then it was like he gave up in disgust and started phoning it in. Not surprisingly, adapting those rapey, racist books ended up a disjointed muddle for the writers culminating in an embarrassing Twitter war over Heughan’s refusal to read the script as written. It finally jumped the shark with those “Gilligan’s Island” voodoo episodes.
There are thousands of threads about actors on DL and nobody gives a shit – it’s free publicity. On the other hand, cyberstalking and doxing was what caused the troll’s ‘Queer Enby’ threads to get deleted. Even my cat had given up on me and killed itself. But then one day, whilst trolling a gay message board with homophobia, I saw what I needed.
I could rave on and on about any actor being gay. This would give my empty sad life a modicum of meaning.

But, the term still held a lot of weight.
r/apple moderated it because they felt that it belonged in the megathread, which I disagree with — there was far too much original work for that to go into a thread that was mostly a lot of “me too”.
Share via Email Candida Crewe: In the past, an infestation was to be avoided on so many counts. Mere discomfort and squeamishness were the least of them. Crabs brought with them, quite apart from itchiness, a kind of physical and moral squalor. If a date were to give you crabs, that would make you feel the lowest of the low. You never could tell. Dating has always been fraught with worries. In the 80s, when I was dating first time round, crabs were definitely to be feared.
Last month, a magazine named me as one of the 80s It Girls. My children asked me, “What’s an It Girl? Always worked, no handbags and a sceptical view of “fun-loving”. Dating for young women, even the “cool girls”, is rarely the “fun” it is cracked up to be. Indeed, dating for women at any age. Three decades later, I am back in the game.

People who online date are known as online daters, who are commonly abbreviated as ODers. Online dating is against ROBLOX’s rules of conduct, and anyone who participates in said activities risk getting punished, as stated by the terms of service. It is unwanted by most in the community and encouraged by very few people. Against vigilante approach to online daters On the other hand, some old and new players alike have grown sick of seeing people argue about this topic on the website.
Stereotypes about accessories or clothing can result in harassment against users who are far from the definition of an online dater.
I responded to his threads, we PM’d several times and we shared some emails. I always hoped I would get to meet him and especially at a Bowsite gathering at a P&Y Convention. No question about it, he would have been the life of the party at a gathering.
Posted on November 13, by Scott Alexander I. A lot of people pushed back against my post on preschool , so it looks like we need to discuss this in more depth. Sometimes test scores go up a little bit, but these effects disappear after a year or two of regular schooling. But these studies were done in the 60s, before people invented being responsible, and had kind of haphazard randomization and followup.
They were also small sample sizes, and from programs that were more intense than any of the scaled-up versions that replaced them. Modern scaled-up preschools like Head Start would love to be able to claim their mantle and boast similar results. We can expect those results in ten years or so. For now, all we have is speculation based on a few quasi-experiments. Deming is my favorite of these.
